- Abstract (EN)
- This study explores the use of a Deep Q-Network (DQN) agent to optimize order allocation strategies within warehouse systems, aiming to enhance overall operational efficiency. The DQN agent employs reinforcement learning to improve decision-making processes. Results demonstrate that the DQN agent effectively reduces schedule violations (Terminverletzungen) and buffer overflows (Pufferverletzungen) to very low levels, thereby significantly improving the efficiency of warehouse operations.
