- Abstract (EN)
- Combining an idea of Takáč with the techniques of Daners, Glück, and Kennedy, we investigate individual and uniform (anti-)maximum principles, thereby shedding new light on the (current) limited theory. The results are used to prove and disprove (anti-)maximum principles for a variety of concrete differential operators. Furthermore, we also study eventually positive operator semigroups on Banach lattices. We improve the current spectral theory of eventual positivty but also initiate an abtract theory of the more general, local eventual positivity. We complement the theory with various examples.
